Monday, October 16th at 6:00 pm in the Crane School Library we are hosting an impactful meeting on human trafficking. We hope you can join us! This is appropriate for adults and mature teens to attend and is open to parents as well as community members.
This year our High School Student Council's theme is "A lot can happen in a year", and we are time traveling through different eras in history. We are in the 70's now at CHS complete with our very own paper VW Van on the wall! Tomorrow, October 11th, students can break out the bell bottoms, patterns, and polyester for a 70s theme dress up day.

Tonight is our Jr High basketball teams' last home games of the season, and they will be playing in the High School gym. Come out and support our Pirates!
Our Jr High and High School September Students of the Month are 7th grader Cooper Wilson and Junior Drew Chisam!
About Cooper, the nominating teacher shared: Cooper is always polite. He is on-task and a hard worker. He contributes a lot to the classroom conversation. He treats others kindly and has a positive attitude.
About Drew, the nominating teacher shared: Drew works so hard to keep a positive attitude, even when stressed, and she's a friend to everyone around her. She is a role model for her peers in yearbook and shows dedication in all her extracurriculars as well as classes. Drew has that "can do" attitude I adore to see in students of all ages!

Students in Ms. Grebel's high school Physical Science classes were practicing graphing today to prepare for collecting data from upcoming laboratory experiments. We appreciate Ms. Grebel and the standards to which she holds her students. They certainly rose to the challenge to meet her expectations today as she also incorporated a competition among her classes out of the lesson!
Monday is BINGO NIGHT! In a joint fundraiser, our FBLA sponsor and members along with Project Prom will be providing an evening of fun, food, and the chance to win some delicious baked goods from the dessert auction!
The shirt order form seen here is a Project Prom fundraiser. These order forms will also be available in the high school office and sent home with elementary students. Our Lady Pirates Volleyball team played against RUSH tonight. The JV lost both sets and Varsity won two of the five sets. They battled until the end!

The Lady Pirates Volleyball Team pulled out wins for both JV and Varsity against the Southwest Lady Trojans! Way to play hard until the end ladies!

The Lady Pirates Volleyball Team had a fantastic day at the 40th Southwest Volleyfest! Out of the 13 sets played, they won 10 making it all the way to the championship game! They played their best and came up just short of winning! Congratulations, ladies on winning 2nd place!
The Lady Pirates Volleyball Team played the Hurley Lady Tigers. The varsity lost the first three sets. Junior Varsity won their set!
