Crane Elementary’s PK/K Screenings which were scheduled for today have been rescheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022. Appointment times will stay the same! If you need to call and change your child’s time, please let us know by calling the Elementary office at 417-723-5300, ext. 1301.
After speaking with National Weather Service of Springfield, the timing of the snow will impact roads about the same time buses begin routes. So for our student & staff safety, school is canceled today.

All Juniors will be taking the ASVAB this Thursday, March 10th. Students who normally attend SRTC need to be at school by 8:10 and report to the office. All other juniors will be called out at the appropriate time.
There will be no VoTech at SRTC this Thursday/Friday March 10-11. We will also not attend on Monday, March 21st.

Students from our American History classes visited the WWI museum and Auschwitz Exhibit yesterday in Kansas City! Thank you to our Mrs. Blair, Dr. East and Mr. Brown for putting this great experience together for our students!
Crane Elementary fifth graders graduated today from DARE! Thank you, Corporal Melissa Riggins, for teaching our students how the choices they make can impact their lives! We also want to thank Sheriff Doug Rader, Chief Deputy Tim Gideon, Captain Matthew Cornelison and many of our Stone County elected officials for attending the ceremony this morning!
We are proud of these CHS students who have scored at or above the state and national averages on the ACT!
