Sixth grade students in Mr. Johnson's social studies class are learning about the mummification process in Ancient Egypt. They have started this process in class with an apple, baking soda and salt! They used popsicle sticks to make faces in their apple, and took their first measurement today! They will watch the apple slowly dehydrate, and measure how the apple changes in size and weight throughout the next couple of weeks.

Today in Adulting 101, we had Chad Vaught come out from Wire Road Rebuilders! Students are finishing up their car unit and were taught how to change their oil, check the tire pressure, and jump a car. It was a great experience, and we appreciate his time!

We have our very own art show every day at Crane High School. Mrs. Funcannon has made growing our students into artists an art form of its own! We currently have our Art II students' scribble art on display, our Jr High art students' layered painting, and a bulletin board with pieces from various classes. Great job, kids! Beautifully and whimsically done!
