Mrs. Tapia's Design Fundamentals class ended their housing unit by making 3D models of houses. They each took time making a sketch and choosing a style for their house. Students then made their houses come to life and did a great job!

Dear Parents, We are writing to inform you of a situation that was brought to our attention late last evening. Thanks to concerned students who saw the posts, we were able to take precautions this morning to ensure our students and staff were safe until a complete investigation could be conducted. One of our top priorities is the well-being of everyone in our district. We take any and all reports of potential threats seriously, and make every effort to maintain an environment where students and staff feel safe. Our administrative team along with our School Resource Officer thoroughly investigated the situation and took actions which maintained sustained safety of our students and staff so we can continue to provide a safe learning environment for students and staff. We encourage you to talk with your child about the seriousness of such threats and the importance of reporting any suspicious or concerning behavior, both online and in person. We would like to continue to reiterate to our students and school community the importance of reporting anything that could constitute a threat to school safety. Thank you for your support, cooperation, and trust in us to keep everyone safe at Crane R-III. Sincerely, Dr. Kelli Rogers Superintendent Crane R-III Schools 417-723-5300 ext. 907

Mrs. Moore's first hour 8th grade English class found out, through a daily question, that they all love pickles. So when the students asked if they could have a pickle party, Mrs. Moore told them yes, but only if they could all get 100% on their vocab quizzes. Guess who met their goal!

5th and 6th grade students visited the Crane Library today, for the second time. The students did a scavenger hunt to find out more about the 5th and 6th grade teacher's favorite books. Then they had the opportunity to check out books from the Crane Library. We love this collaboration!
