Bid Request for Gravel Parking Lot Construction
Project Name: Crane R-III Schools Sport Complex Parking, 39400 State Hwy 413, Crane MO 65633
Project Description:
We are seeking bids for the construction of a gravel parking lot at 39400 State Hwy 413, Crane, MO. The parking lot will serve as the parking for the Crane R-III Schools Sports Complex and is expected to accommodate approximately 272-278 vehicles.
Scope of Work
Site Preparation:
Clearing and grading of the designated area for the parking lot.
Excavation, if necessary, to achieve desired grades and contours.
Size
The size of the lot will be approximately 785’ x 120’, going from approximately 20’ on each side of the highway approach to the other highway approach on Hwy 413, with approximately 45 feet on each end for turn around areas.
Four rows of angled parking spaces with two driving lanes with the ability for traffic to go both directions.
Connecting to the bank drive at the southeast entrance.
Base Installation:
Installation of a compacted aggregate base layer to provide a stable foundation for the gravel surface with four inches of two inch rock.
Gravel Surface Installation (After Completion of the Track):
Application of two inches of one inch base rock.
Compaction of the gravel surface to ensure stability and proper drainage.
Drainage:
Implementation of appropriate drainage measures to prevent water accumulation and ensure proper runoff towards southeast entrance.
Completion Date
First lift of rock needs to be completed by May 15, 2024.
Bid Requirements:
Provide a detailed breakdown of costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and any additional expenses.
